iFacility Software and Design has forged links with a number of organisations, charities and companies. Using our skills and expertise, we have designed websites, created apps and coded software to help them run their businesses more smoothly, aid with communication and commerce, and maximise their potential.
The Pathway Project
The Pathway Project is an organisation based in Lichfield, working to support women and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse. This charity has been running since the late 1980s, when Kathy Coe, the now Director, was herself a victim of abuse, and found that there was nowhere to turn. Over 25 years later, this ambitious charity has helped many vulnerable families, runs a 24 hour helpline, has a number of refuges, and continues to push towards finding more ways to help more victims.
Getting sufficient funding, and maintaining relations with existing funders, is a constant struggle. iFacility Software and Design stepped in to design a database that makes it easy to maintain data, access figures needed for funding applications and produce reports for funders, thus enabling the staff at Pathway to minimise their processing time, improve relations with donors, and encourage new patrons.
Sport for SPIN
Sport for SPIN was devised to back Andrew Noble in his many, amazing physical challenges – miles of swimming, and hundreds of miles of cycling and running, to raise money and profile for SPIN; the fully self-funded charity, offering a local support network for young people with special needs and their families.
SPIN (Special People In Need) was formed in 1988 in Tamworth, Staffordshire, by a group of local parents and carers of young people with special needs, with the purpose of offering a safe, enjoyable and caring environment to make friendships, learn, and have fun.
iFacility Software and Design put together a simple, eye catching website to allow donations to be made easily, supporting the challenges that Andrew undertakes to raise the profile of this worthwhile charity.
TCRfm is a community radio station in Tamworth run entirely by volunteers, and is not-for-profit. All of the presenters work for the love of radio - they have no set playlists or guidelines on when certain genres of music can be played, and produce their own shows. This makes their output as unique as their team; one show can often be completely different to the next.
iFacility Software and Design developed and released a radio player app that allows listeners to tune in to TCRfm 24 hours a day, no matter where they are, and helped to prime the app for release on the Apple app store.
Tamworth Informed is a local news website, featuring news stories from the Tamworth area, and locally relevant national stories. Their website is their prime method of communication, and it was in need of a complete overhaul.
iFacility Software and Design took on the design, coding and hosting of a new Tamworth Informed website, ensuring that local residents are kept up to date with relevant news and stories, and with the information that is important to them.
Starchaser Industries is a privately held, high technology group of companies that specialises in the development, operation and commercialisation of space related products and services. Millions of people dream of taking pleasure flights into space and Starchaser is designing and building the rockets and space related hardware that will make this dream a reality.
The company engage with thousands of young people every year; delivering a range of space related workshops, shows and presentations aiming to enthuse and excite young people and to encourage them to consider careers in science and engineering.
Starchaser needed an updated ecommerce website to sell model rockets, in order to fund their research and keep up their educational provision, and this is where t1d came in. A brand new site, displaying a huge range of merchandise, with easily negotiated payment and information pages, has recently been launched; designed, coded and hosted by iFacility Software and Design.
